Yes, I have updated my bios, and now have it set to boot to Raid. I’ve forgotten my password.
I had to make a bios and flash it to get my asus a7n8x-e raid SATA to be recognised. After this was done, the computer automatically performed the rest of the installation without need of intervention.

All I had to do was put asus a7n8x-e raid all together and it worked. I have been reading some old threads looking for answers to my problem. One other thing, gaid loading the drivers during XP instal at F6 prompt, XP suggested it had a better driver.
My preferred an8x-e is to just add the drivers into my XP install disks I have installed a customised BIOS to overcome this limitation.
In bios make sure you only have boot asus a7n8x-e raid cd selected disable all others.
